Gerina Stevenson is a native of Mexico in the family of Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. Stevenson is of Mexican family roots but is American with a US national. Since she was a child she's had a keen determination to be involved in sporting activities. Gerina first started golfing at 15 years of age. Gerina completed her high school education in Goddard High School. At the age of 16, she was a winner in New Mexico's state golf tournament.
