April Lockhart

April Lockhart born 4 July 1995. She started with guitar and piano in the 7th grade, which ignited her interest. The first song she wrote was called Different, which she wrote when she was 12 years old. As April approached 14 years old, she spent long hours creating song ideas as well as perfecting the song. After a while, she began traveling with her father and write in NY or LA. April also began to include different topics related to some of her peers who are dealing with issues such as social pressure and teen suicide in the song"Take" my Hand. Lockhart, a popular lifestyle influencer as well as working in partnerships with clean-cut beauty brands Ilia she has gained her own following. Born without a left hand, she is an important part of her. It's however not her entire story. Lockhart's Instagram page doesn't overlook the fact that she has a disability. However, it doesn't make it a point to emphasize her disability. What message is it sending? This is the message: We all have many identities, we're way more diverse than we think we are.
