Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
My son played inside a playpen, while I worked 12-hour days, sanding the floor as well as removing the wallpaper. Ha! The house was starting to look nice, but there were a few things to be done. To furnish the home would be an enormous undertaking in terms of both time and funds. It was also going to be a challenge to do my favourite shopping. In order to stay within budget, I began by taking my sons to estate sales looking for of diamonds. The schedule we had for the week that consisted of spending Friday through Saturday at sale houses and garages, purchasing new and old things. I then spent the remainder of the week sanding and painting the driveway. Looked a little something like it... This is when my interest in restoring furniture began. Even though the house was fully furnished, I could not stop. I rented a booth in the market at my local location and even sold some items there. Eventually, I had too many pieces to store in the available space. My home became a place where I would host open houses, where up 1000 people would be able to view the things on the first floor, and then purchase these items. Growing Days was created in this house. My company was flourishing however my family was growing too. The balance between work and family was crucial to me. I wished to balance being a mother as well as a business owner who was successful. Growing Days fit perfectly. Nora, my 4th kid was born in the year 2013. While I was pleased with the direction my business was taking, I realized that I was in need of an occasional break. I took a pause from creating vintage furniture and I slowed down my speed in order to stay at home and take care of the kids. At the time, it was what I wanted. Within a couple of months, the phone began to ring. The people who called me were seeking help for decorating their homes and interior remodeling. These were mostly customers who visited my residence to buy furniture. It didn't seem long until I was managing a full-scale house renovation business. The first step was to take clients one by one in a manner that I felt confident in. Had you told me my company would become the basis for a DIY Network show, I likely would have laughed. Actually I still kind of laugh when I think about it.
